**Hotel in the heart of the Basque Country
100 m from the Spanish border and its ventas
Sheltered in a beautiful green setting, the elegant typical Basque building over which the Ithurbide family has been watching over for three generations, has many assets to seduce you.
The history of the Ur Hegian hotel-restaurant began in 1965 with Jeanine and Albert Ithurbide who created an establishment with 10 rooms and 60 seats. In 1971, Albert, French champion in bare-hand pelota, built a pediment behind the hotel, which was enlarged in 1975 with 9 additional rooms and a total of 80 seats. The pediment was transformed into a "wall on the left" in 1983. In 1996, it was the turn of Jean-Michel, cook and rugby player, to take over and carry out embellishment work with Marie-Hélène as his side. Today and since 2013, it is Pierre and Séverine who continue the family tradition by welcoming you to a fully renovated hotel restaurant that meets standards.
In the immediate vicinity of the Spanish border, the whole team of the family hotel Ur Hegian invites you to stop off in Aïnhoa on the way to your holidays or on a business trip.
